Relying on SIC categorisation has it's limitations. SICs don't cover the breadth of all the new business sectors that have emerged since their invention. They also don't take into account that businesses change and merge across different industries. By searching companies entire websites our Data Explorer can use Machine Learning to understand their type of business activity and classify them correctly, on your own terms.

Accuracy through identification
To ensure all companies are registered and active in the UK, our Data Explorer will also ensure they are matched to records on Companies House. This ensures you don't get any redundant or inactive companies in your list, saving you time.

Training and scoring your list
You train our Data Explorer by entering example companies into your ML Search. It then finds companies similar in their make-up. You can then remove any that don't fit and rebuild until you have the perfect list. We give each individual company a score that reflects how closely matched they are to your training set. Most of the time, thats's all you need to do, but you still have the ability to filter in the same way as our free version. It takes a bit more time to create your initial list, but you will be getting a bigger,better, more accurate set of results than any other method.
